(a) No United States citizen, United States national, or qualified alien as defined in 8 U.S.C. § 1641 shall be denied or discriminated against by the State or its agencies and employees for disaster recovery assistance on the basis of political affiliation or political speech. (b) Any person who knowingly violates this section shall be guilty of a Class I felony. (2025-18, s. 2(a).)
