Appointments to fill vacancies shall be for the remainder of the former member's term. Members shall be removed only for malfeasance or nonfeasance as determined by the board of county commissioners. (1998-202, s. 1(b); 2000-137, s. 1(b); 2011-145, s. 19.1(t).)
