    (a) This Article shall be known as the "Cardiac Rehabilitation Certification Program." (b) The purpose of this Article is to provide for the development, establishment, and enforcement of rules and certification: (1) For the care and treatment of individuals in outpatient cardiac rehabilitation programs; and (2) For the maintenance and operation of cardiac rehabilitation programs to ensure safe and adequate treatment of individuals in cardiac rehabilitation programs.
