    Local entities are authorized to offer sign-on and retention bonuses to employees subject to this Chapter. Sign-on and retention bonuses provided by local entities to employees subject to this Chapter shall be consistent with the Sign-On and Retention Bonus Policy for State agency employees.  (2025-34, s. 10.)
