Tuition, room, and board for resident students.

(a) A student who is a resident of North Carolina is entitled to free tuition for the educational programs provided by the schools for the deaf and blind. (b) A student who is a resident of North Carolina whose parent elects for the student to board at the school in order to access the educational program is entitled to free room and board. (c) Repealed by Session Laws 2023-10, s. 1, effective July 1, 2024. (2013-247, s. 2; 2016-94, s. 8.12(b); 2023-10, s. 1; 2024-1, s. 2.8E(a).)
